Chad grew up in rural Kentucky and has lived in Charlotte since 2016. As a teenager, he began serving in ministry through music and found a deep community through his church’s worship team. While still in high school, Chad went on a life-changing mission trip to Guatemala.  This led to several opportunities to serve the Guatemalan people, and he eventually transitioned to working as a full-time missionary in Guatemala for five years. Chad has served in pastoral roles in music and missions in churches in Kentucky, Guatemala, and North Carolina. In 2014, Chad married his high school crush, Kacie, and they welcomed their first daughter, Heidi, in 2023.

Chad is passionate about serving God and connecting with others through service and music. He desires to praise God through music while serving and equipping the church with Biblically-based songs. In his free time, Chad loves spending time with his family, writing and recording music, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats.
